Review: This entire tape sounds and looks like a compilation [it is, but I wasn't aware of that while reviewing]. Burn the House of God parts 1 to 6 offer Beherit-like whispers on monotonous drums and equally monotonous black metal riffs. The guitar sound is bad and thin. The drums are better, but hardly satisfactory. The whispers are crispy clear, but that’s also what detaches them from the music entirely. They really are just whispers over low-fi music. The clean vocals heard in part IV are extremely laughable, and sound like the moaning of a retarded person. The tracks Empty parts 1 and 2 are no different. Den zwarten dood sounds weird but different in all its low-fi glory and has some sort of bell that sounds ripped from a train-crossing... I am not sure what to make of this release; a few moments it’s likeable, but at many times it’s absolutely not.
