Review: Two tracks of extreme black metal,
recorded by guitarist Striid and vocalist Hermit, who
have since then expanded the band with bassist
Iezelzwaerd of Salacious Gods and drummer Kriich (drums
on this demo are done on a drum computer). Founder Striid
has come a long way since the Winterlord project of 1994,
and has written two good black metal tracks that are a
promise future releases. Since it's only a terribly small
demo and my first contact with Lugubre, it's hard to take
a definite stand on the value of this band in the long
run. I do want to hear more, that's a fact.
