Jiaru TAPE 2012 by Zwaertgevegt
1: Jiaru
2: Validation
3: Weit unter Mir
4: Promises
5: Apart
Review: The intro of the
tape is nearly three minutes long, which is clearly way
too long, hardly evokes anything, and might be an
indication of which way we are heading. The demo really
starts with Validation, and, to my horror, I
realise that the intro really was an indication for the
first song. The vocals are black metal, but everything
else sounds more like alternative rock. At times it is
hypnotising, and there are riffs that really work well,
but it never really delivers. The following track has a
more generic underground black metal sound, but keeps the
midtempo drum beat at a very very VERY steady pace all
the way through. Closing tracks Promises and Apart
are like the intro - enough said. Please, forget this
one!
